How many direct descendants will you have in future generations? Run this calculation to get some probabilities! A critical input is the probability distribution for number of children born to each adult during his/her "productive" years. We've entered one feasible set of probabilities (see Figure 3 of the linked article). We assume these probabilities remain the same for each generation. This app lets you change the input values (though the code will enforce normalization of the sum equal to 100%). NOTE THE RESULT! You will have either ZERO descendants or a very large number (with the default birth probabilities).
